Two Midtowns, one route
Midtown covers more ground than any other district we run, and it splits sharply by building type. Hudson Yards and the Penn District towers are the newest, most process‑heavy stock in the city — app‑based dock booking, formal vendor systems, closer in spirit to the Financial District than to their Midtown neighbors.
A few blocks south around Flatiron and NoMad, the buildings are frequently older loft conversions with no loading dock at all — service entry is a street‑level door on a side street, and the paperwork is lighter. The Garment District sits in between: shared freight elevators that need booking ahead because other tenants use them too.
We treat Midtown East stops a little differently as well, running them early to clear the Grand Central‑area congestion before it builds. Same neighborhood on a map, four different operating realities on the ground.
